DENVER -- Water crews repaired a broken water main in southeast Denver on Thursday morning.

The 12-inch pipe broke Wednesday night in the 7100 block of East Princeton Avenue, cutting off water to two residential homes and an apartment complex, Denver Water said.

The pipe was repaired and water was restored about 4:30 a.m.

Crews spent early Thursday morning repairing the road and cleaning up the street.
