ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — A Denver man was accused of first-degree murder after a shooting in Adams County last week, according to an announcement from District Attorney Dave Young on Monday.

Adams County deputies found 42-year-old, Casey Griego, shot on the floor of a garage at 7618 Grace Place in Adams County on July 27.  After taken to Denver Health Medical Center, Griego later died from his injuries.

After investigation by the Adams County Detectives Division, Shaun Jeff Snow, age 34, was accused of first-degree murder of Griego after deliberation.

Snow was also accused of possessing or using a gun during the commission of drug offenses, according to DA Young. He also will face two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and three counts of possession of a weapon by a previous offender, which are felonies.

Snow’s preliminary hearing will take place on Oct. 2. He is being held without bond.
