Vehicle found in South Platte River in north Denver

DENVER -- An SUV was found in the South Platte River on Monday morning.

The Denver Fire Department said the SUV was found about 5:40 a.m. at 5275 N. Franklin St. No one was found inside or near the vehicle.

Dive teams search the SUV and the river downstream, but nothing was found.

A two truck was called to retrieve the vehicle from the river.
