Hundreds of mailboxes vandalized near Fort Lupton

WELD COUNTY, Colo. — Hundreds of mailboxes were destroyed or ransacked in Weld County over the weekend, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies discovered the vandalism in the area of Aristocrat Acres near Fort Lupton about 3:45 a.m. Saturday.

The sheriff’s office said in a news release some of the mailboxes were destroyed while other boxes had the mail removed from the mailboxes and scattered about.
