WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — A man who allegedly fired shots at a Wheat Ridge resident on Thursday was found by Police after a business check on Monday.

Police discovered Christopher Owen Martin in an unlocked trailer at a Camper/RV business at 4650 Saulsbury Street.

Martin had a loaded hand gun on him, Wheat Ridge Police reported, and he was taken into custody.

This suspect could be charged with criminal attempt first degree murder.

Charges come from a Thursday incident where he shot at a 52-year-old who was putting lawn equipment into a shed.

Officials in Wheat Ridge said these men were acquaintances.

Martin was being held at the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond.
