Lakewood woman missing for nearly three weeks found safe
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A Lakewood woman who had been missing for nearly three weeks has been found safe after a TV viewer alerted the Lakewood Police Department to her whereabouts.
Tanya Lyons was last seen May 12 at the La Quinta hotel at 7190 W. Hampden Ave. Police were worried about her well-being because of her mental instability and extreme anxiety.
Lakewood police said after news of Lyons’ disappearance was aired, a viewer tip led them to her.
“Apparently someone had taken her in and given her a place to say,” police said, adding Lyons was OK.
