Woman’s muddy body found in ditch in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. — A woman’s body found in a drainage ditch on Saturday prompted an investigation by police.

The remains of the body were found behind a shopping center at west 29th St. just after noon by a person walking a dog, KRDO reported.

Her body was covered in mud and partially submerged in the water, police said.

No information about her identity was released but officials believed her age to be about 30-years-old.

Police found no obvious injuries on the body.
