Motorcycle catches fire after colliding with SUV

DENVER — A motorcycle driver ran a red light and collided with a SUV underneath US 36 at Pecos on Saturday.

Colorado State Patrol said the driver went around a car stopped at a red light, broadsided the SUV then the motorcycle caught on fire.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Colorado State Patrol told FOX31 Denver there were no drugs or alcohol involved.
