Loveland police warn about suspect who went to house, impersonated an investigator

LOVELAND, Colo. -- Police in northern Colorado want people in Loveland to know about a man who is pretending to be a law enforcement investigator.

He went to a home in Loveland where he approached a woman who lives there.

Police describe the impersonator as a man, 50 years old. He's 5-foot-9 with gray hair and a beard. He was driving a gold, box-type car or small SUV.
