DENVER — Another year, another springlike February day filled with half-naked runners swarming the streets of Capitol Hill.
The participants in Cupid’s Undie Run could have expected Feb. 7 to be a chilly day to take a jog without pants (or shirts), but for the second year in a row, the event landed in the middle of a heat wave with temperatures near 70.

While this meant that opportunities for sexy snow angels were few, it also meant that the area around Civic Center Park was packed wtih unexpecting pedestrians, many of whom stopped to cheer on the runners. A mile and a half later, it was back to Stoney’s bar for an all-out patio party.
Cupid’s Undie Run, held in 30 cities in the U.S. and Australia, benefits the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Visit the event’s website for more information.
