VIDEO: Taylor Swift suprises fan with a $1,989 student loan check

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Rebekah Bortniker, a Taylor Swift super fan active on social media, gets a gift from Taylor herself.

Bortniker, who usually has a lot to say about the star to her 520 followers on twitter, is speechless by Swift’s generosity.

She posts and follows all things Taylor swift and her cats too. She has account on twitter @noitsbeks , instagram and on tumblr “thatcheshirecatsmile.”

She opened her package from the star and posted the video to Youtube on Monday.

Inside the package Swift sent her a Polaroid, jewelry, a painting and a check.

Polaroids are a theme of her recent album and each deluxe CD purchased comes with a set of Polaroids featuring Swift.

The painting read, “BEKS” which is her twitter name. The note inside said: “I’m not a good painter but I think you’re so beautiful and positive, even though you’re dealing with the stress life brings, so I wanted to make you something.”

Additionally, she received a $1,989 check to help pay off her student loans Swift said.  The amount corresponding to her recent album “1989,” the year she was born.

Bortniker was moved to tears while she was opening the package.
