RIVERSIDE, Calif. — A woman who tried to shimmy down the chimney of her ex-boyfriend’s home early Saturday became stuck, prompting a two-hour rescue operation.
The woman, 35, tried to enter the home of Tony Hernandez, with whom she has three children, CBS Los Angeles reported. When she found the door locked, she decided to slide down the chimney, firefighters said. She apparently undressed first to make the squeeze easier.
However, she became stuck in the 12-by-12-inch space. After Hernandez was unable to free her, he called for help. Firefighters eventually managed to rescue the woman by smashing a hole in the wall.
