DENVER — Denver Police are looking into the deaths of two men — one of them as a homicide — who were found outside in the subzero weather Wednesday morning.

The first body was discovered about 2 a.m. at West 50th Avenue and Eliot Street in an alleyway, two blocks east of Federal Boulevard. Police say there were no obvious signs of foul play.

The second body was found outside an apartment complex at East Fifth Avenue and Alton Way, in the Lowry neighborhood.

The age of the second victim was not released by police. The body was discovered about 5 a.m.

Neighbors said they heard shots Wednesday morning and police were seen putting down evidence markers as part of their investigation. Police later said they were investigating the death as a homicide.

Police say the investigations into both deaths are continuing.
