CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- A Colorado State Patrol trooper and a Douglas County sheriff's deputy suffered minor injuries after being involved in a crash on Interstate 25 on Monday morning, the CSP said.
The accident happened at milepost 179, south of Castle Rock, and forced the northbound closure of the interstate as the accident was investigated.
The right lane was reopened about 7:45 a.m. to allow some traffic to get through and the full interstate was reopened just before 9 a.m.
