WELD COUNTY, Colo. — A former sheriff’s deputy accused of killing his wife in their home in Evans almost three years ago has posted bond.

Tom Fallis is now free awaiting trial for his wife’s 2012 death. He was ordered to remain in Colorado.

A judge also ordered Fallis to surrender his weapons (including the gun that investigators say was used that night in 2012) within three days.
