BAILEY, Colo. — A car belonging to a missing 18-year-old Nebraska man was found near Bailey last week, leading police to begin searching for the man in the area.

Jason Berglund was last seen on an ATM security camera at 16th and Blake streets in Denver on Oct. 23. Berglund’s Dodge Intrepid was found a week later near the Colorado Trail southeast of Bailey, the Park County Sheriff’s Office said. The license plates were missing.

The full details of Berglund’s situation were not known, but police said he is considered a missing person. A search party including members of Berglund’s family began checking the area near his car on Saturday and will continue Sunday.

According to the Panhandle Post, Berglund is 5 feet, 9 inches tall with long blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey and white Myrtle Beach hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes.
