Denver police helicopter makes emergency landing in Wash Park

DENVER -- A Denver Police Department helicopter made an emergency landing in Washington Park Saturday night after an apparent bird strike.

Air One touched down shortly after 7:30 p.m. No one was hurt, DPD said. Officers were inspecting the aircraft for damage.

There was at least one witness to the incident.

    It is a good day. No one was injured. Those are police officers with great cop skills piloting Air One, also astute at that.
