ESTES PARK, Colo. -- It's a special time of year in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park when mid-September arrives. The elk are abundant and the sounds of their bugling echo for miles around, it seems.

The elk and their bugling attract visitors from all over during this time of year. The season lasts for about a month until mid-October.

Storm Tracker Daryl Orr was in Estes Park Thursday when he shot the video above.
