PITTSBURGH, Pa. — A wedding party degenerated into violence and chaos early Monday morning after the groom allegedly became “touchy feely” with a woman working at the reception.

Pittsburgh police told KDKA they arrived at the Gateway Clipper — a waterfront events space — about 12:55 a.m. on Monday. A woman reported that the groom, 33-year-old Mark Williams, touched her and attempted to make her drink alcohol even after she told him she was pregnant.

The woman called her boyfriend, 20-year-old Tyler Smith, to pick her up. When he arrived, he and Williams got into a fight, police said.

Eventually, the groom’s brother, 35-year-old David Williams, became involved. Police said he “became aggressive with officers.”

When police arrived, they found two men covered in blood and subsequently arrested Smith and the Williams brothers.

A fourth man at the scene, 31-year-old Brian Taylor, reportedly punched out the front passenger window of a car. Sources told KDKA that Taylor allegedly yelled at police that he was HIV positive as he tried to resist arrest.

Taylor is a member of a local school board.
