Is Frontier Airlines getting a new livery?

DENVER — It seems that the planes operated by Frontier Airlines are getting a new look.

The airline sent out plane white toy airplanes to several media outlets Thursday. The plane has a large question mark on the tail, which has been reserved for the airline’s famous animals.

The package included an invitation to the company’s hangar on Sept. 9 to “see what’s next for Colorado’s hometown airline.”

Frontier has been tinkering with its business model since it was purchased by Indigo Partners LLC. The company reduced fares, but added fees.

Frontier’s CEO told the Denver Post in April that he would never leave the animals saying “We love the animals.”

A change is welcome, but please keep the animals, and put “FlyFrontier.com” on the winglets, not across the fuselage. Colors? A combination of silver, white, green and blue.
