DENVER --Starting Friday, you can buy Colorado cash and support local businesses. The program is called COjacks and you can use COjacks cash at 80 businesses cross the Denver metro area.

The money has the same cash value as the dollar bills you carry in your wallet. But you can only use COjacks cash at businesses within the COjacks network. This can save you money because there's a 4-to-5 ratio for consumers.

For example, $80 will get you 100 COjacks cash. It's currently a members-only program for businesses and consumers. You have to go to the COjacks website to sign up and order COjacks cash.

The businesses involved buy into the program and they get professional services within the COjacks network in return.
