Ex-gymnastics coach found not guilty of child sex assault

DENVER — A former youth gymnastics coach has been found not guilty in a child sex assault trial.

Robert Barke, 32, was on trial for allegedly assaulting two boys, 12 and 14 years old at the time.

The accusations covered a time from 2004 to 2007.

A jury acquitted Barke of the charges Friday.

He worked at Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics in Broomfield.
