DENVER -- The Parade of homes opens next week at a time when it can showcase metro Denver's sizzling housing market.
FOX31 Denver visited Pradera's newest golf course community between Castle Rock and Parker to get a sneak peek of the event that is free for you to see.
President Dan Verdoorn says new homes are being built based on what home buyers want most. "We tend to take that extra money and that extra square footage in the common areas where everybody spends their time."
Whether you're buying now or just want to come dream, you can find it at the 2014 Parade of Homes. "This year we have homes that start from 220 [thousand} which is still really affordable all the way up to ... $1.2 to $1.3 [million] which is really nice to see," says Parade of Homes spokeswoman Courtney Ridens.
There are 74 homes on the tour, the largest in the history of the Denver Parade of Homes. And just like the last few years, the homes are scattered all across metro Denver.
