ATLANTA — A fan got a little too personal with Tim McGraw so the singer struck back.

A video released by TMZ shows McGraw slapping a fan during his concert Sunday at the  Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta.

A representative for McGraw told TMZ, “Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn’t let go as he was moving through the crowd.

“He instinctively swatted to try to keep them from ripping his jeans (which they succeeded at doing), and so he could get to more fans who could slap hands with him before the end of the show.”

Ugh! I used to love Tim McGraw. Don’t think I will be spending my hard earned money on him anymore. Disgusting!

The video clearly shows that Tim McGraw assaulted this woman. She should file a complaint with the local police and have him arrested. He was in no way physically threatened by this woman and he used excessive force by hitting her in the head which may have caused injury to the woman. My advise to her is to hire a good lawyer and pursue the situation legally. The key here is EXCESSIVE FORCE

Was his fault, for being so close to the audience !! If he never wanted touched , he needs to stay back from people !!

This is like saying that if a girl doesn’t want to be raped then she shouldn’t wear certain clothes or be in certain areas that are dangerous. She grabbed him and wouldn’t let go and even ripped his pants. She does NOT have the right to invade his personal space like that. He DOES have the right to defend himself!

Slapping her hand, I can see, but slapping her in the face?! That’s insane. She wasn’t hurting him, she was excited. And yes. I would feel the same way if a woman slapped a male for grabbing her when walking down the aisle where they expect to be touched by the crowd.

I would of slapped with a back hand as well !, now if u would touched her like that it would of been sexual assault

Where is this guys security he’s a celebrity this is a normal thing for a male celeb to have woman tryin to cop a feel, and who’s the guy that grabbed her after it happened looked like he got a hand full of her hair and pulled her back!

It’s not ok to grab a stranger just because you feel like it, it is no different for a celebrity. She would have been charged with assault if it was on the streets and she grab someone and wouldn’t let them go and ripped their clothes. Learn self control people. He was their to entertain his fans. Not to be assaulted. If you can’t maintain yourself in public events stay home. And for the people who saying file charges and sue him, your ridicules. Earn your own way in life, not from the sweat and hard work of someone else.
