COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs police found a 4-year-old girl by herself in a neighborhood late Sunday night, and the parents were found Monday morning.

The girl was found in the 3900 block of Regency Drive, near Broadmoor Valley Park, just after 11 p.m. She told officers her name was Jaycee Madison Duffree, but the spelling couldn’t be confirmed.

No charges will be filed at this time after the girl was identified. Police say the girl was fully clothed and in good condition but initially had no information about her parents or where she lives. The girl was taken under the care of the Department of Human Services.

Colorado Springs police have not released a photo of the girl.
