DENVER -- The Douglas County coroner identified the child who drowned in the Chatfield Reservoir Saturday as a 4-year-old from Littleton named Andres Patrick Sena.

Deputies said they were called to the reservoir around 5:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of a child who went missing.

A rescuer from the Littleton Fire Department recovered Andres from the southeast corner of the reservoir. He was rushed to a local hospital and later died, authorities said.

The coroner has ruled the death an accident, but the Douglas County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident.
