COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Officers arrested a man involved in a rollover car accident Friday in Colorado Springs after he struck a police car with his fist.

Colorado Springs Police Department identified the man as 52-year-old Harold Adams, according to the Gazette.

Sgt. Dan Thompson told the newspaper Adams punched Sgt. Jerry Steckler’s police vehicle several times following the crash.

Thompson added that officers attempted to use a taser on Adams twice, but the device did not stop Adams.

Police said Adams was then arrested on suspicion of several traffic violations in addition to obstructing a police officer.
