Police search for man who robbed woman using ATM at gunpoint

NORTHGLENN, Colo. — Northglenn Police were dispatched to an armed robbery at a bank ATM Saturday.

According to the Northglenn Police Department, a man robbed a woman while she was in her car withdrawing funds from the drive-through ATM at the Bellco Credit Union located at 555 W. 104th St.

Police said the incident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect approached the vehicle, pointed a gun at her and demanded money.

He then fled westbound on Monterey Circle.

Law enforcement searched the vicinity with K-9 units, but said they were unable to locate the suspect.

Officers described the suspect as a white male, about 20-years-old, 5-foot-10, medium build and short blondish hair. He wore a black bandana over his face that had decals of skulls on it. The suspect also wore blue jeans and a red t-shirt with white lettering or a nondescript decal on the chest.

His weapon was described as a small caliber black semi-automatic handgun.
