Police investigate possible attempted abduction in SW Denver

DENVER -- Denver Police said they are investigating a possible abduction attempt that occurred early Sunday morning.

Detectives said they responded to a report of a woman forcibly taken into a vehicle near the intersection of Morrison Road and Lowell Boulevard.  She was released minutes later near Alameda Avenue and Federal Boulevard.

There was a sighting of the suspect vehicle, only described as a green SUV, nearby.

Authorities have yet to release the victim's age or condition.
