NWS: All of Eastern Colo. under Tornado Watch until 8 PM

Multiple tornadoes touched down in Park County Sunday, according to the Park County Sheriff’s Office.

The National Weather Service also issued Tornado Watches and Warnings for a number of Colorado counties:

  • Tornado Warning was issued for Central Arapahoe and Northwestern Douglas Counties, effective till 1:45pm.
  • A Tornado Warning was issued for Southeastern Douglas County, effective till 1:45 p.m.
  • A Tornado Warning was issued for Central Adams County, effective till 1:30 p.m.
  • A Tornado Warning was issued for Central Weld County, effective till 1:30 p.m.
  • A Tornado Watch was issued for all of Eastern Colorado, effective until 8:00 p.m., including Adams, Bent, Denver, El Paso, Kit Carson, Logan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Yuma, Arapahoe, Cheyenne, Douglas, Huerfano, Las Animas, Morgan, Prowers, Washington, Baca, Crowley, Elbert, Kiowa, Lincoln, Otero, Pueblo and Weld counties.
