2 injured during stabbing at 49th and Clayton, police say

DENVER — Denver Police responded to a double stabbing at E. 49th Avenue and Clayton Street Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., the Denver Police Department sent out a tweet stating that two individuals were injured as a result of a double stabbing at the intersection.

One male and one female were transported to a nearby hospital, police said. They appeared to be in stable condition.

Officers also said the male victim is a possible suspect in the incident and his wounds appear to be self inflicted.
