DENVER -- When Craig Korn’s Subaru was stolen outside his Washington Park home last week, he didn’t stop at just calling police, he started his own search by posting on Facebook.

600 people responded, but still no sign of the blue wagon.

He got his answer, unexpectedly, early Monday morning.  He was watching the news and saw a bad auto accident at West 26th Avenue and Federal Boulevard.  Upon closer inspection, he noticed that one of the cars involved, was his. The driver of the other vehicle is suspected of driving under the influence.

While Denver Police are still investigating, Korn is sure the car is his.  No word, yet, if the driver of the Subaru involved in Monday’s accident is also the one suspected of stealing it.

Korn does have insurance.
