Couple charged with ‘engaging in sex acts’ on church lawn

SALT LAKE CITY — A man and woman were charged with gross lewdness conduct for allegedly engaging in sexual acts on a church lawn in Salt Lake City.

According to KUTV, Sandra Krusen and Wilson Benally were arrested for engaging in sexual acts on the front lawn of a Salt Lake City church while a wedding was happening in the church.

The incident occurred near 175 E. 900 St. in Salt Lake City over the weekend, according the probable cause statement.

Investigators said children were at the wedding and witnessed the couple in the act. A wedding guest then ran into the road and flagged down an officer to report the pair.

Krusen and Benally were arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on charges of lewdness and public intoxication.
