BOULDER, Colo. — Paul Richardson didn’t want to wait another year. He’s ready for the NFL now. The former Buffs receiver had an impressive junior season in Boulder in 2013, catching 83 passes for 1,343 yards and 10 touchdowns.
At 6’1, 175 pounds, PRich is projected to go in the third round.
His biggest strengths are his speed and athleticism. Richardson should be a deep threat for the NFL team that selects him.
He does have some weaknesses. The Los Angeles native’s size might scare away some teams, but has been working in the offseason to gain some weight. Richardson has also suffered a big injury. He missed the entire 2012 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, but bounced back the following year.
Fox31 Denver’s Kami Carmann caught up with him as he hopes to become the 14th Buff currently playing in the NFL.
