FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A medical marijuana dispensary in Fort Collins had its license suspended by city marijuana enforcement officials.

An employee at Cannabis Care’s Garden City location at 5740 S. College St. confirmed to the Coloradoan that the dispensary had its license suspended after Fort Collins officials cited it with violations of rules and regulations.

However, the employee refrained from disclosing details about what the violations entailed.

The Fort Collins newspaper reported that a handwritten sign was hanging on the front door of the pot shop Saturday afternoon, stating the store’s “notice of suspension.”

According to records from the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, Cannabis Care Wellness Centers, LLC, which owns this dispensary and one other, has failed to file its periodic reports with the state since its inception in 2010.
