Police investigate theft incident at Denver Zoo parking garage
DENVER — Three vehicles were broken into at the Denver Zoo underground parking structure Tuesday.
At about 10 a.m. Tuesday, a suspect vehicle entered the Denver Zoo’s underground parking structure, according to the Denver Police Department.
Two to three suspects then exited the car and proceeded to break into three separate vehicles parked in the structure, said police. The suspects then got back into their vehicle and exited the parking garage, departing in an unknown direction.
Police described the suspect vehicle as a newer model, silver or grey Jeep Cherokee.

The Denver Zoo was the No. 3 spot for car break-ins, according to Denver Police data obtained by investigator Tak Landrock.
