Fountain PD looks for reckless endangerment, criminal mischief suspects

FOUNTAIN, Colo. — Fountain police said they are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspect(s) involved in several reckless endangerment and criminal mischief incidents.

The Fountain Police Department said the series of similar incidents date back to June 2013 and involve large rocks being deliberately placed in the roadway on Powers Boulevard, just south of Fontaine Avenue.

Detectives said the incidents typically occur in the early morning hours.

More than a dozen vehicles have been damaged or disabled by the rocks, according to the Fountain Police Department. The total damage caused to the cars warrants felony charges.

Authorities reported that no injuries have resulted from the rocks.
