Colorado Sen. Mark Udall, a Democrat, faces reelection in November.

DENVER — Colorado Sen. Mark Udall had his biggest fundraising quarter to date, bringing in more than $2 million between January and March.

Udall, a Democrat facing a strong challenge from Republican Congressman Cory Gardner, raised $2,068,205.47 in the year’s first fundraising quarter.

That brings his total cash on hand to $5,904,534.45 in what’s become a top-ten race that could determine control of the Senate.

“Coloradans are rallying behind Mark Udall because they see him fighting every day to protect our special way of life,” said Udall’s campaign manager Adam Dunstone in a statement.

“Mark is grateful for the thousands of supporters who are helping us fight back against the billionaire Koch brothers and out-of-state special interests.”

Gardner, R-Yuma, has yet to release his first quarter total.

He just entered the race in late Feburary and had $800,000 in his campaign account at the beginning of the year that could be used to fund his bid to unseat.

I guess its a good thing we don’t decide Political Races on the amount of money a candidate raises…
Last I checked…. Credibility, Honesty, Honor, and Regard for the Country and People you represent is still in the mix….

With that…. I think we still have a chance.

(But keep up the “Good work”, Mr. Stokols… That Press Secretary postion may eventually come open again…….)

Money doesn’t buy love nor votes. This was proven twice over the last 6 months in Colorado; first with the recalls (7-1 $ spent to fight off the recalls) and Amendment 66 (10-1 $ spent for the amendment which lost by a 3-1 margin).

Udall is done. He proved party is more important than people. He fell for every liberal idea thrown his way.

Colorado has moved left over the last two decades, we aren’t that liberal. We are moderate and purple and Udall doesn’t get it.

    Buh bye.

Another glowing pro Udall article from Eli. I see they have the Koch Brother talking point down pat. No mention of Soros or Tom Steyer.
