DENVER — The Denver Broncos and head coach John Fox announced Friday that they’ve agreed to terms on a new contract.
Fox received a three-year deal that is expected to keep him on the Broncos’ sidelines through the 2016-2017 season.
At 59 years old, Fox is still looking for his first Super Bowl win. There’s no time like the present for the head coach to change that.
This is not a contract extension. The final year of Fox’s contract was torn up. Terms of the new deal were not disclosed.
Fox endured mid-season heart surgery during the 2013-14 season to lead the Broncos to their third straight AFC West division title and first AFC Championship since 1999.
