GOLDEN, Colo. -- The Chinook winds began blowing in Saturday and only recently let up a bit. Some winds hit upwards of 90 mph over the weekend and Monday morning.

The winds literally huffed and puffed and blew a house down near Golden.

“I’ve lived in Golden since 1999, so I have seen windy days and how strong they can blow thru here,” said Andy Chrysler. “But this is crazy, never seen anything like it.”

Elsewhere, we received reports of trees blown down, but no major damage.

An Evergreen tree fell in Arvada on a pick-up truck.  In Denver's Baker neighborhood, a large Cottonwood lost a few limbs, which crashed onto two homes below.

No injuries from the winds have been reported.
