Two dead after motorcycles collide near Horsetooth Reservoir

LOVELAND, Colo. — Two motorcycles collided head-on Sunday afternoon on County Road 38 East along the southeast edge of Horsetooth Reservoir, killing both riders, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Police received the report just after 2 p.m., CSP said. One male died at the scene and other was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Roads in the area were closed for several hours, creating serious traffic problems.
