DENVER — One person was taken into custody after an overnight barricade in west Denver on Wednesday morning.

The Denver Police Department tweeted it responded to a “suicidal” person in the 4500 block of West Third Avenue and negotiators were being sent.

Vrain Street was closed between Third and Fourth avenues. About 4 a.m., another tweet from DPD said the barricade had been cleared and one person was taken into custody.

There were no injuries reported.
