FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. — Two suspects kidnapped a man at gunpoint Saturday morning near a Federal Heights grocery store, according to police.

At about 8:30 a.m., a 65-year-old man was walking down a side street near the Safeway grocer at 10300 Federal Blvd. when he was kidnapped by two men at gunpoint, confirmed the Federal Heights Police Department.

The victim heard a car pull up behind him, then a black male and a white male demanded he get into their vehicle, said police.

After forcing the victim into the car, the suspects asked for his ATM and credit cards.

Police said the suspects then drove the man to an ATM at 104th Street and Federal Boulevard. There, they attempted to use his card and pin number to withdrawn cash from his account. However, the victim did not have any funds available.

The suspects then demanded any cash in the victim’s pockets, and drove him back towards the Safeway, police said.

Police said they have yet to locate the suspects, and described the suspect vehicle as a black four-door sedan.
