Lakewood police seeking couple tied to robberies

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Lakewood Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man and a woman they believe robbed a Nordstrom Rack and Rite Aid store.

Police say the couple threatened an employee with a knife in both incidents when they were confronted.

The first robbery was Feb. 24 at a Nordstrom Rack store near South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue. The second incident occurred March 6 at a Rite Aid store near South Wadsworth and West Jewell Avenue.

In both incidents, the couple chose two fragrance bottles and left the store. When confronted outside, the male threatened an employee with a knife.

The male is described as white, about 5-foot-5, weighing 130-140 pounds with brown hair and a goatee. The female is white and is about 5-foot-5 with brown hair that might have red highlights.
