Jennifer Broome heads to Crested Butte to learn how to drive a snowcat!

Snowcats are the giants on the slopes and at Crested Butte Ski Resort you can learn to how to drive one.  Crested Butte holds the title of Powder Magazine’s Number 1 Ski Town in North America and it is the only resort in Colorado where you can go through a Snowcat Driving Experience.  After a little classroom time to learn about the snowcat and safety lesson, you get an hour of actual snowcat driving time.  In the experience, you even get to drive in the mini-terrain park.

The Snowcat Driving Experience is offered twice daily Monday through Saturday.  All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be over 18 years old.
