LYONS, Colo. — A woman robbed a Lyons pharmacy at gunpoint Monday morning, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said.

About 10:50 a.m., St. Vrain Pharmacy, 440 Main St., called 911 to report the robbery, police said. Witnesses described a white woman in her 30s with shoulder-length blond hair, wearing a tan straw hat and brandishing a handgun.

The woman left the scene in a dark blue pickup with a camper shell. The vehicle was believed to have gone up Highway 7 toward Allenspark, police said.

The woman was not caught. It was not immediately clear what she stole from the business.

Nearby schools in Lyons and Allenspark were briefly placed on lockout after the robbery.
