DENVER — A former Glendale police officer pleaded guilty to charges in a drug case in a federal court Friday.

Scott T. Black, 39, pleaded guilty to helping and abetting a drug suspect Friday, according to the Denver Post.

Black allegedly used federal databases to help get information for Oscar Garcia, who was charged with cocaine possession with the intent to distribute, detectives said.

The indictment did not release details about what Garcia did with the information obtained by Black or why Black assisted the drug suspect.
