DENVER -- Winter is making a comeback this weekend in Denver.

Temperatures will struggle both Saturday & Sunday with highs below freezing.

There will be some on & off light snow until early Sunday.  There may also be some patchy freezing fog.  So, watch the roads as they may turn slick over the weekend.

Accumulation looks light with about 2" in most metro areas.

The mountains will see waves of heavy snow with up to a foot of fresh powder possible.  There are WINTER STORM WATCHES & WARNINGS in place for poor travel through the Colorado high country for the weekend.

Our weather pattern turns back to a stretch of partly sunny days and very mild temperatures starting Monday.
