Colorado research center works to get more women working in science

DENVER -- Big strides have been made in closing gender gaps on a number of fronts.

But when it comes to science and engineering, women are still under represented. A recent study by the National Science Board found women accounted for less than a third of employment in those fields.

One research facility dedicated to women's health and based in Colorado is doing what it can to "buck the trend ..." with more than 20 female scientists.
