DENVER — RTD will operate temporary detours on bus routes due to the Martin Luther Parade in Denver on Monday.

There are 13 routes that are expected to be impacted by the parade, which begins at City Park, continues to Esplande, to Colfax, to Broadway, then culminates in Civic Center Park.

Those routes are as follows:

  • Westbound: Route 9
  • Eastbound: Route 52
  • Eastbound and Westbound: Routes 6, 10, 15, 15L, 16, 16L, 20, 83L
  • Northbound and Southbound: Routes 0, 12, 24

Buses on these 13 routes will continue to run during the parade, but will be detoured from the streets along the route. Riders are being asked to expect a few extra minutes on each route due to those detours.

All light rail and bus service lines will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Monday, and the RTD sales outlets at Market Street and Civic Center stations, the Boulder Transit Center and at the Denver International Airport will be open during their regular hours from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
